We are in Niseko year round and in the winter our office operates a customer service desk from 8:30am -6pm. You can drop by our office during these times for any query big or small. Outside of these hours we are a phone call away.

A passion for winter sports

We are serious about our winter sports. Snowboarding brought us to Japan and has kept us here. We can offer advice on the best ski runs Niseko and Hokkaido have to offer no matter what your ability is.

Who are we?

Founded in 2006 Holiday Niseko is managed and operated by Ashley and Perrin. Having spent several winters riding in NZ and North America we came to Japan to ride the legendary powder snow. Niseko is now our home and we look forward to meeting you.

Holiday Niseko provides a full range of accommodation options to suit any budget and group size. We also organize lift passes, airport transfers, ski rental, ski school and backcountry tours. Having lived in Japan long term we can offer expert local advice on the best places to stay, the best ski runs, local dining options and much more.

Ashley Nicholls

General Manager
Bachelor of Commerce

Ashley has lived in Hokkaido since 1998 and has been involved in Niseko property management and inbound tourism since 2005.

Perrin Chalke

Operations Manager
Bachelor of Arts

Perrin first came to Hokkaido in 1997. An avid snowboarder and golfer, he is married and has one young daughter and 3 dogs.

Hiroki Kasai

Japanese Business Development Manager


Hiroki is from Aomori pref. moved to Niseko in 2005 after several seasons of snowboard instructing in NZ and US. Lives in Niseko town with his wife and kids.

Dylan Kratt

Dylan has lived in Japan for 3 years and graduated from Japanese language school in Osaka. He has spent time in both Nagano and Niseko and enjoys snowboarding and the outdoors.
