North Star is located in the main Hirafu village, less than 100m from a free winter shuttle bus stop and within easy walking distance to a number of popular  restaurants. Featuring two western style bedrooms and a third Japanese tatami room, North Star can sleep up to seven people. There is no shortage of living space with a large open plan living dining area. If you stay during the summer you can take advantage of the rooftop BBQ area and stunning views of Mt Yotei.

North Star is 100 meters from the free winter resort shuttle bus stop and just a ten minute walk to the lifts, however it is easier to hop on the shuttle which runs every 10-15 minutes and will take you anywhere around the resort you wish to go.

Rin Izakaya, Baddies Bar & Ebisutei Izakaya are all less than a 5 minute walk from the front door. Gyu+ aka The Fridge Door Bar is also a short walk away. A little further up the road you will find Hirafu's main street with shopping and famous restaurants including Fuji Sushi and Kamimura and many more.

North Star for family of 5.

Our family of 5 stayed in the North Star after New Years in 2019. The stand alone house is warm, with modern appliances, clean, and had plenty of room for us. As there is two singles and one double, one kid slept on a futon, much to the envy of the other 2 kids. While it's location means it's not ski in / out, the shuttle bus is a short walk up the road that delivers you to whichever ski field you want. We have no issues recommending both holiday niseko and the North Star to friends.

a great home for a family!!

our family of six with a toddler stayed here back in december during a peak period for niseko. it's a relatively newer construction, but it was incredibly cozy. we loved staying here. the bedrooms are all upstairs, and the downstairs area is the kitchen with an open layout which is perfect. the bathroom downstairs has the only bath, however, which was only slightly inconvenient (there is a shower upstairs in the master bedroom, and a separate powder room). this is our second time staying at a holiday niseko lodging, and it was impeccably clean!
