I want to see the Sapporo Snow Festival what are my options?

I want to go to Otaru, what is the best way to get there from the Niseko Ski Resort Area?

The most convenient way to Otaru is by train. Use this link to help plan: JR Planner.  The main train station that services the Niseko Resort Area is Kutchan (8km from the resort).

Yes, there are several reputable companies who have experienced native English speaking ski and snowboard guides. Most companies offer a variety of tours from single day to multi-day and resort tours. Please contact us for further information.

I want to go to Kutchan, what's the best way to get there from Hirafu Village?

Local buses and night buses depart from several points in the village. The journey takes around 15 minutes and terminates at the train station.

There is also a taxi stand at the Hirafu Welcome center. A taxi fare to the train station is around 2,000yen.
