Gorgeous house, fantastic service.

My family stayed in "Ginsetsu" for a week in March, and we're already plotting our return! I dealt with Dylan at HN, and he arranged a fantastic value package for us including ski hire, lift tickets, ski school, transfers and accommodation. Everything worked perfectly. Dylan was always very prompt returning emails, and was able to answer all sorts of questions for me as we were first timers to Japan. We came to Niseko armed with great local knowledge thanks to Dylan, including where to get a good coffee!

The house, Ginsetsu, was perfect. We walked in and immediately felt at home with the gorgeous Japanese styling. The kids loved their tatami and futon room (it's worth noting that the photo of the unobstructed view of Mt Yotei from one bedroom is an old one - there is a large building in the way now, although you still don't feel hemmed in, and Yotei is still visible in part). The bathrooms and bedrooms all work really well, and the house is warm and cosy. The upstairs area is lovely - with heaps of table space and a modern and functional kitchen (once you work out the Japanese appliances!!). My only small criticism of this house is the lack of drying room. Probably ok in Jan/Feb when the snow is dry, but in March we had some heavier spring snow and came inside pretty wet at times, and the hanging area above a radiator inside the front door didn't cope very well with 4 wet suits and 4 pairs of wet gloves and boots. But it's a small thing, we cycled things around other parts of the house and used the dryer at times and we always got gear dry by next morning. Otherwise the house was wonderful, and we would return to it again in a heartbeat.

Many thanks to Dylan and the team at Holiday Niseko for their wonderful service and friendly manner - we really enjoyed our holiday and will be back!!
