Overview

North Star is located in the main Hirafu village, less than 100m from a free winter shuttle bus stop and within easy walking distance to a number of popular restaurants. 

Featuring two western style bedrooms and a third Japanese tatami room, North Star can sleep up to 7 people. There is no shortage of living space with a large open plan living dining area.

If you stay during the summer you can take advantage of the roof top BBQ area and stunning views of Mt Yotei.

Location

Nestled in the Hirafu lower village just steps away from Yukoro Natural Hot Springs and the exceedingly popular Fridge Door Bar. North Star is 100 meters from the free resort shuttle bus stop and just a eleven minute walk to the lifts, however it is easier to hop on the shuttle which runs every 5 - 10 to take you anywhere around the resort you wish to go.

Rin Izakaya, Baddies Bar & Ebisutei Izakaya are all less than a 5 minute walk from the front door. Gyu+ aka The Fridge Door Bar is also a short walk away. The famous Yukoro Onsen (hot spring bath) is also just a two minute walk from your front door so you can go and relax all of your sore muscles after a long day on the slopes.

Our family of 5 stayed in the North Star after New Years in 2019. The stand alone house is warm, with modern appliances, clean, and had plenty of room for us. As there is two singles and one double, one kid slept on a futon, much to the envy of the other 2 kids. While it's location means it's not ski in / out, the shuttle bus is a short walk up the road that delivers you to whichever ski field you want. We have no issues recommending both holiday niseko and the North Star to friends.

our family of six with a toddler stayed here back in december during a peak period for niseko. it's a relatively newer construction, but it was incredibly cozy. we loved staying here. the bedrooms are all upstairs, and the downstairs area is the kitchen with an open layout which is perfect. the bathroom downstairs has the only bath, however, which was only slightly inconvenient (there is a shower upstairs in the master bedroom, and a separate powder room). this is our second time staying at a holiday niseko lodging, and it was impeccably clean!

Overview

Lodge Mori Apartments consist of four spacious 1 bedroom units and two open plan 2 bedroom units. The deluxe one bedroom units feature a balcony that can be used in summers. 

Tastefully furnished these apartments are a good option for those wanting space, comfort and value. Each apartment also comes with an Apple TV and a free subscription to Netflix.  

Each apartment has its own washer and dryer and fully equipped kitchen. A home away from home.

The apartments are located in Izumikyo 2 which is serviced by the free shuttle bus during winter.

Located in Izumikyo #1 Lodge Mori is just a one minute walk to the closest free shuttle bus stop where you can catch the resort shuttle to get to the lifts as well as the bar and restaurant district just a short 5 minute ride away.

Within walking distance are a number of bars and restaurants including Tsubara Tsubara soup curry, Graubunden cafe, Hirafu Midtown convenience store and restaurant as well as many more.

Great apartment which was spacious and well equipped. Modern and clean and situated a short (but cold) 20 minute walk from the main part of town. The free shuttle bus stop was a short distance away and an easy walk carrying skis and wearing boots. Would recommend and stay here again. Good value for money.

Located in Kabayama, just outside of Hirafu village, these new townhouses enjoy views of Mt Yotei and Mt Annupuri.  Each townhouse can sleep up to 9 people (8 on beds and 1 sofa bed).  The living area has an alcove that opens up to a lawn area for BBQs in summer.  These townhouses have plenty of space to relax in .Completed in time for the 2017/18 winter season each apartment has a fully equipped open kitchen and is fully furnished.

Located in Kabayama, just a short drive from the lifts,  these 4 bedroom townhouses have plenty of space to relax in after a day on the ski hill. The townhouses are set back against a quiet forest back drop on a private road. The Kabayama Townhouses are located just outside Niseko village - either a short drive or via the bus that stops 100 yards away. They have decent size bedrooms, nice showers etc, compact kitchen (only missing element is a n oven) and a lovely sized front room/dinner.

We love the space and all the equipment there. Just one little note, there were eight of us, so there is quite a lot of laudry each day, there is not enough hanger for drying, considering it’s a big house for big group of ppl

Overview

La Plagne was fully reformed and updated inside for the 2016/17 ski season. This beauitful architecturally designed chalet features a double height vaulted ceiling over the living areas and new timber flooring. 

The first floor includes a ski dryroom and one bedroom. The kitchen has been completely revonated to include the latest Japanese appliances and a gas cook top. 

Staying warm is not an issue with underfloor heating on the first and second floors, which is complemented by individually-controlled panel heaters throughout the house.

Located close to NAC in Izumikyo 1, La Plagne can be accessed by the free village shuttle or is a 12-15min walk to the lifts. The ever popular Niseko Ramen is just two doors down and the hip Yoko Ono`s bar and Mexican restaurant is less than a two minute walk away.

Lawson convenience store is also just a four minute walk from La Plagne making it easy for you to stock up on supplies for your stay!

We were a group of 11 that stayed for 5 nights at La Plange. The living room and kitchen area is big and perfect for a big group to spend time in. The place is a 5 minute walk to Lawson (small grocery store) and just over a ten minute walk to the Main Street. I was impressed with the cleanliness of the lodge, and that they come in a clean every few days. We had a great time and would definitely recommend staying here!! Holiday Niseko also arranged our transportation to and front the airport, plus rentals and lift passes. They made everything really easy!

Very spacious property, with excellent facilities. A huge TV, drying space is very handy for all the ski gear. The double height living area is good for relaxing in. The layout is slightly odd with toilet facilities only on the ground and first floors. The wet room on the ground floor has been converted into an extra bedroom. Thankfully we did not need this room as the conversion has not been done well, with a bed taking up the whole room and all the house services making a lot of noise through a thin dividing wall. This is a great house, smart modern, and with excellent equipment, close to the ski bus route, it would be perfect if it was converted back to the original layout.

We stayed at la Plagne for a month in the ski season and the location was mint. Right across the road from the ever faithful lawsons, the best ramen bar right next door and the shuttle stop across the road even though the gondola was a short but up hill trek. The property was lovely and well maintained. The cleaners did a great job. Probably the best thing was the Apple TV they had installed so we didn’t have to watch interesting Soaps in Japanese and instead got to Netflix it up. Holiday Niseko were very easy to deal with sorting out our transfers and lifts to and from the welcome centre when we arrived and departed. They were an easy email or phone call away. It was an expensive trip but for the size and location of the property with 8 people it worked out relatively good value. Only real down side of staying here was the beds. They were rediculously hard and uncomfortable! After a hard day torturing your body on the mountain there was no comfortable bed to return to and recover. I don’t think I slept a lot in that month which was a huge down side and probably a reason I wouldn’t return. Also when we requested doubles for three of the rooms they just pushed two singles together and put a double sheet over it....bit average.

The place was not within walking distance from the slopes and the food. However, the shuttles were generally quite convenient. And the chalet provided a lot of space for bigger groups. My family and I really had a great time there. The rooms were also very well equipped! Overall, fantastic value!

Birch Grove is a fantastic 3 bedroom 2 bathroom chalet located in Hirafu's lower village. The chalet is very spacious for a 3 bedroom and can accommodate up to 10 guests.

The kitchen and lounge area are inviting and spacious and pefect for entertaining with a dining table suitable for 8, a well appointed lounge area and some great views of Mount Yotei.

Birch Grove is a fantastic option for families, bigger groups looking for value or smaller groups wanting a a spacious option.




Location

The lower village location is with easy walking distance of a shuttle stop and a short walk to a number of restaurants including Rin, Ebisutei, Yo and the Barn by Odin. It is not only convenient but also a little out of the way of the hustle and bustle of the rest of the village.

Location

Hurry Slowly is nestled in the lower village with views of Mount Yotei as well as ski resort views from the balcony off the third floor kitchen. Close to shuttle bus stop # 5 (3 minute walk) getting from Hurry Slowly to the lifts is quick and easy!

Rin Izakaya, Baddies Bar & Ebisutei Izakaya are all less than a 5 minute walk from the front door. Gyu+ aka The Fridge Door Bar is also a short walk away. The famous Yukoro Onsen (hot spring bath) is also just a two minute walk from your front door so you can go and relax all of your sore muscles after a long day on the slopes.

What a great place to stay! The house itself is roomy and well appointed and maintained. So comfortable with drying cupboard for our gear, a garage where we could store all our skis and boards (or even a car if we'd had one - but why you'd need one I don't know)! All the comforts of home including your own laundry. The kitchen has everything so you could get supplies from the Seiko Mart (minimart) and dine in if you wanted to but we liked to try all the different restaurants. A big tip though - make reservations ahead as they are mostly small and fill quickly during peak times. The house is three stories so we loved the lift. Elevator goes up - elevator goes down - suitcases were a breeze! The Holiday Niseko guys were really helpful too, getting us and our gear from the Welcome Centre to the house when we arrived and back again when we left - as well as helping out when we had to make an unscheduled visit to the medical centre across town (who were also really helpful)! A short walk to the free ski shuttle that took us to and from the chair lift each day - a short ride but a bit far carrying our skis. But just a pleasant walk to the main part of town or any of the restaurants. And really close to the Onsen (hot spring baths) which was a great way to end a day on the slopes. And the incredible view of Mt Yotei from the house was a great way to start each day too. Absolutely loved it!

Our first trip to Japan could not have been better. Hurry Slowly was a great place to stay. The town house was equipped with full kitchen appliances and laundry facilities. The bedrooms were spacious and we were regularly provided with clean towels and sheets. In floor heating kept us warm and toasty. We were a short walk to the shuttle pickup point, which came on a very regular basis. Around the corner was an onsen which we went to regularly after a hard day of skiing. Restaurants were a plenty writhin a ten minute walk, so we never needed a car or taxi. I would highly recommend staying at this location.

We stayed there for 2 weeks, 5 persons (2 adults, 3 kids). The location is quiet good, only 5 minutes to the lift, but..... just beside the house is the dump for snow clearing. So every morning we woke up at 6:30 by the noise of the machines. The house was very clean, but in my opinion too small for 5! In the bedrooms there is no space, and no space for bags or suitcases . No chance to put your clothes somewhere, the kids had to leave there clothes in the bags. The bathroom is not really a bathroom, only a small corner just beside the gas heating. The appartment is ok for 4 people , not for 5. for my next visit to Hirafu I will choose another one, sorry. The service by holiday niseko was really good.

We have spent a very nice Christmas vacation at Niseko and found Silver Birch a great choice for a family of 4, such as ours. Very centrally located, within walking distance of pretty much everything you need (incl lifts). The apartment was very clean, well set up and left nothing for us to worry about. Many thanks for a great family vacation.

Excellent place to stay. Positives: Clean, spacious, good kitchen, hot tub, short walk to shuttle bus. Negatives: Drying room didn't dry things and couldn't fit clothes and boots for everybody. Under floor heating was too hot and couldn't adjust. Few restaurants in immediate vicinity. Relatively minor problems in comparison. Overrall rate this place 4 out of 5.
